Places Around Town From Old Silent Hill, one can reach the section across the lake by taking Sandford St. around the lake and then getting on Nathan Ave. The area around Lindsey Street once was a swamp. Making a left off of Sandford Street, its what Route 26 (County 24 HWY) turns into as it enters town and what turns into County HWY 73 as it exits. When you pass through a tunnel under the area's many hills. You will also see a red sign stating: Paleville National Park 10 Miles, and a green sign stating: PaleVille 10 Miles, Old Silent Hill 50 Miles, and Brahms 265 Miles. - Silent Hill Historical Society: its built over what remains of the Toluca Prison - Rosewater Park (and Boat Launch) - Silent Hill Savings Bank - St. Stella Church - South Silent Hill Fire Station - Bus Stop: As you exit the path by the Ranch, you come upon the bus stop that sits underneath 73 County rd and beside the Pleasant River/Creek. It takes off on Wiltse Rd. - Silent Hill Ranch: Following the path exiting the cemetary, you pass the towns giant ranch. Not only does it have its own barn and cilo, but even a greenhouse. "The Roadrunner" is an attraction you can find on the land. It pays homage to the horse drawn carriage. - Toluca Lake Chapel: Following the trail away from the Well, you reach the the small stone Toluca Lake Chapel. It and its cemetary is surrounded by a stone wall, iron fence and gate. It lines the edge a sculpted section of the the lake. - Well: Heading down the steps of the Observation Deck, you walk down a winding trail leading towards the lake's beach. Before you reach the cemetary, you come up on a a brick gazebo and well. - Observation Deck: Over looking the lake, it has a unisex restroom and parkinglot. Perfect for travelers just making a pit stop. Both are poorly connected through an old fire escape that opens into Blue Creek's Apartment #203. A safer entrance can be found via the courtyard, which gives both building's access to the pool.
