Old Silent Hill and Central Silent Hill

Old Silent Hill, Central Silent Hill, and the Lakeside resort area south of old Silent Hill is collectively called "Paleville". It's the Northern part of the town, it's southern half, "South Vale", across Toluca lake.

Old Silent Hill
The oldest section of Silent Hill (50 Miles from "South Vale") suffers from fire damage. Its connected to the more urban section, Central Silent Hill, via a bridge over the Pleasent River (the river runs through Piscataquis and Washington County) cutting the two off. The Lakside resort is just southwest of Old Silent Hill.


Bachman Street: This street is named after author Richard Bachman (Stephen King). This is a main road in Old Silent Hill and runs right under the highway.

- Road leads out to Orridge Bridge, which crosses the river to get to central Silent Hill.

- Balkan Church: a Christian church, most likely Ma href=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_Catholic>Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, or Presbyterian. A Celtic/High Cross stands outside.

Midwich Street: This street is named after the book "The Midwich Cuckoos" by John Wyndham. Like Bachman road, Midwich passes North under the highway as well. It is mainly a residental street that's South side ends with the grounds of Midwich Elementary School.
