Shepherd's Glen

- A town founded after Silent Hill's religious sect, The Order, was founded. It was founded by four families (Bartlett, Fitch, Holloway, and Shepherd) 150 years ago after they broke away from The Order. This was allowed on one condition, that they sacrifice one of their children every fifty years. This pact is broken by Alex Shepherd when he avoid his sacrifice and the founding member's still practicing were killed. On this occasion, while Joey Bartlett, Scarlett Fitch and Nora Holloway were successfully sacrificed by their parents, the Shepherd sacrifice failed, and as a result, the Order had been reformed to try to appease their God.
The Shepherds Founder Shepherd - Once a part of The Order in Silent Hill, he founded Sheperd's Glen and made the pact with The Order to sacrifice one of children and grandchildren every 50 years.

Adam Shepherd - Husband of Lillian, and father of Alex and Joshua Shepherd. Adam went looking for Josh when he went missing and never returned.

Lillian Shepherd - Wife of Adam, mother of Alex and Joshua. While Alex was away overseas, her husband Adam and son Joshua went missing and she fell into a catonic state. She only breaks from this to tell Alex that everyone has disappeared. She is later kidnapped by the Order.


Alex Shepherd - He is a 22-year-old soldier (Green Beret?) coming home from war after being discharged (he was in the hospital) and suffering disturbing nightmares. When he arrives home in Shepherd's Glen (Ohio?) the town is celebrating it's 150th anniversary, and yet, it's practically empty and in shambles. Even worse, he discovers his mother in catatonic state and his father and brother have missing. Clues lead him to Silent Hill where he searches for his younger brother Joshua, the only person who can console his grief and help him overcome the feelings brought on by the war.


Joshua Shepherd - 12-year-old Joshua is Alex Shepherd's much cherished younger brother. He used to have nightmares before Alex left home.


The Holloways - Judge Hollaway - She is the mother of Elle and Nora. She is a Judge in Shephard's Glen. She knew Alex's family.
- Elle Hollaway - 20-something-year-old Elle is an old school friend of Alex Shephard's who lives in Shepherd Glen. Her mother is a Judge in town.
- Nora Holloway - Sacrificed by her mother
Deputy Wheeler - An officer in Shepherd's Glen.

Mayor Bartlett - Died at the hands of an Otherworld monster. His child Joey Bartlett was sacrificed to appease the Order's Pact.

Dr. Fitch - Died at the hands of an Otherworld monster. Their child Scarlett Fitch was sacrificed to appease the Order's Pact.
